Red means the cross-reference came from the PDB, whilst blue means it came from UniProt. Dark red means UniProt says the same as PDB. Note that UniProt doesn't provide much detail (no PDB residue numbers)!
Green is a SCOP domain.
This program uses SIFTS data to align SCOP entries with UniProt where possible.
Where SIFTS data is not available for a particular PDB entry or chain, the program guesses that the PDB residue numbers match those of the UniProt entry. This isn't always a good guess and such SCOP domains may be misplaced along the UniProt sequence. These domains are coloured a slightly lighter green.
PDB chains are arranged alphabetically but chains that have been classified in SCOP are displayed before chains that have not been classified.
